Dr Veysi Isler is an Associate Professor in Department of Computer Engineering, and the coordinator of Game Technologies MSc programme at the Informatics Institute. He received his B.Sc. (1987) in computer engineering from METU, M.Sc. (1989), and Ph.D. (1995) in computer engineering and information technologies from Bilkent University. Then, he worked as a research associate at the Computer Graphics and Multimedia Laboratory, Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to joining METU in 2005, he worked for industry directing a research and development team in the areas of simulation and gaming. His research interests are in design, development, and evaluation of virtual environments and games. Dr Isler will give a lecture on game development pipeline.
